Privacy Policy

We do not pass on your data to third parties except where required by UK law.

If you get in touch via email or our online contact form, we will retain your name, email address and message (including any files or media you send) in order to process and respond to your communication.

If you purchase a ticket to one of our gigs, all financial details are handled by our ticketing partners (currently TicketLab). We do not view, store or retain any payment details. We will retain your name, email address and ticket details (eg date of gig, number of tickets bought). We may contact you via email regarding future gigs run by us. In order to opt-out, pleased send an email with the subject “opt out” to marketing@yamboozled.com

For further guidance on how we handle your data according to UK GDPR regulations, please see https://www.gov.uk/data-protection

Cancellation Policy

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend one of our events that you have bought tickets for, please let us know as soon as possible via email: tickets@yamboozled.com. If you notify us at least 48 hours in advance of your event, we will endeavour to transfer your tickets to a later date, subject to availability. If you notify us within 48 hours of the event, we will offer half price tickets to a future date.

If an event has to be cancelled by us (eg due to issues with the venue or key acts), we will notify ticketholders as soon as we can and transfer tickets to a later date. You may request a refund, but any refunds issued will be for the ticket price paid – the ticketing fees paid to our partners are non-refundable. Details on how to apply for a refund will be sent out via email following the cancelled event.

Comedy Content

Whilst we do not run “adult” events, comics will often talk about their lived experiences and this may include material of a mature nature and may include discussion of difficult events and topics.

If you don’t like what they’re saying, please remember that it’s probably a joke. It is highly unlikely that we have booked someone who will be genuinely offensive throughout their set. Except for the headliner, most of our acts will be on stage for 5 or 10 minutes, so you won’t have long to wait for the next comic who may be more to your taste. We always book a range of acts with different styles and topics.

If there is a genuine concern, please speak to one of our staff and they will assist you. It is not acceptable to disrupt acts when they are on stage and a confrontational or aggressive manner is unlikely to be of benefit.
